With backing from the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB), a new global platform—TurkTechDiaspora—has officially launched to connect Turkish tech professionals, entrepreneurs, and investors around the world.
The initiative aims to build a vibrant international network where Turkish innovators can collaborate, share expertise, and forge strong ties with Turkey’s tech and entrepreneurship ecosystem. The official launch event is set to take place in Amsterdam, Netherlands, on May 27, 2025, at 17:30, at Singel 126.
Originally conceived by Gürol Üzenç in 2022, the TurkTechDiaspora platform (accessible at turktechdiaspora.com) is the latest in a series of forward-looking projects championed by YTB to empower Turkish communities abroad. YTB continues its mission to support Turkish citizens globally and strengthen their cultural, economic, and professional ties with Türkiye.
The platform is designed not only to foster global Turkish tech connections but also to support cross-border innovation, startup development, and joint investment projects led by Turkish professionals living abroad.
At the Amsterdam launch, participants will learn about the platform’s vision and objectives, join interactive networking sessions, and hear from leading Turkish tech figures in the diaspora. The event will also spotlight several international Turkish entrepreneurs, who will showcase their projects to attendees.
TurkTechDiaspora is poised to become a central hub for uniting Turkey’s global tech brainpower and amplifying its impact across industries and borders.
