
Turkish president reaffirms support for Palestinians and calls for a state with East Jerusalem as its capital.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said Wednesday that Muslims would not give up their rights over East Jerusalem, pledging continued support for Palestinians facing Israeli attacks.
At a ceremony in Ankara, Erdogan reaffirmed Türkiye’s call for a Palestinian state based on 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital. He criticized Israeli policies and vowed Ankara would stand with Gaza and other groups facing conflict in the region.
